Margolin, Jed. The Secret Life of Vector Generators.
A bit techy compared to my normal blog fare (although you can click the picture itself for a lower-fi discussion), but really interesting to learn a bit about what these early games (also Lunar Lander, if you remember that one) were doing “behind the screens”.
